Esala Perahera (procession Esala) is a large festival with elegant fashion, which was held in July and August in Kandy, Sri Lanka. This procession is held historic (perahera) annually to honor the remains of the sacred tooth of Buddha, which is located in Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy.
