Kalkudah or Kalkuda (pronounced Cal-Koda, Tamil translator Rock Bay) is a coastal city located resort about 35 kilometers northwest of Batticaloa district of Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. It used to be a popular tourist destination, but due to the decreased number of tourists in 2004 tsunami in the Indian Ocean and the Sri Lankan civil war. Located Pasikudah and Kalkudah few kilometers from each other.
